4BEAT Yoga: The Discipline of Breath

4BEAT Yoga: The Discipline of Breath

My training | Friday 1st May 2026

I like to say that I started yoga for all the wrong reasons. Or maybe for exactly the right ones. I first stepped into a yoga studio only because an old injury left me no choice but to trade high-impact training for something kinder on my joints. I wasn’t curious or inspired; I was skeptical, convinced that yoga was just a collection of 'easy shapes' that could offer neither challenge nor purpose, and quietly certain that slowing down was something I simply didn’t need. Oh, and of course, I couldn't touch my toes. My very first class did nothing to change my mind. We spent most of the hour seated, tying ourselves into elaborate knots ...

Yoga & Music

Yoga & Music

I started practicing yoga in my gym without knowing what to expect, and looking back I realise how lucky I was to be introduced to the practice by such good teachers. First aid kit for a month of yoga in India

First aid kit for a month of yoga in India

Personally I had an entire cabin luggage for my first aid kit (which challenges what I consider as first aid, I know). I’m not saying that it was needed - I ended up using only half of the stuff I came with - bu...

YTT: week 2

Week two is ending today and I can’t believe next week will be the final one of this yoga teacher training. I feel like I’m just at the beginning of this journey and I want to learn more and more. Although I think I also need some time to process all t...
